The project
A kitchen and custom cabinetry project in Tanglewood. The island ends in a thick walnut butcher block, and the range hood is white with walnut trim and walnut corbels to match.
White cabinetry surrounds a professional-style range, with a white pressed-pattern backsplash behind it and a window over the sink. Gold colored lantern pendants hang over the island, and the faucet is gold colored too.
Walnut against white is a classic for a reason: warm where it counts, clean everywhere else. The counters are white with soft gray veining.
